Read what parents are saying about Houston Middle SchoolBack again, just had the worst bullying experience of my life. But i just wanted to say i am leaving to go to a private school
Posted by a parent on 2/28/2023This school lacks effective leadership. For the amount of money that tax payers pay to live in Germantown, TN, this middle school is sub par. I fully understand now why Germantown residents choose to private school during these delicate middle school years.
Posted by a parent on 12/3/2019I don't want to give this school one star at the moment.
Posted by a parent on 9/12/2019It was okay, but the school doesn’t really acknowledge any sports besides cheer and pom and some of the kids are just downright awful. My daughter complained everyday about one specific 7th grade teacher, and from what I’ve heard from her friends and other parents is that she should already be fired as she just copies off other teachers and is rude to the students.
Posted by a parent on 5/15/2019After 3 kids and 7 years experience, I would recommend this school. We took kids out of a very highly respected private school because we found that this school offers more classes and opportunities than even the most expensive private schools including high school algebra honors and high school geometry honors.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an aumna of Briarcrest Christian High School. Briarcrest was founded on principles of white supremacy and segregation and yet still today they have not accomplished the work it takes to leave such a horrific past behind. Any student who does not fit into their homogenous southern, white, heterosexual, cisgendered, masculine model is othered and bullied by faculty and administration. This results in lasting trauma. Their teachers range from the too-few fantastic educators to the too-many apathic, uncompassionate adults who really shouldn't be allowed within 100 feet of minors. While BCS does have some amazing facilities, fancy bricks never provide a proper education nor decent treatment. Please carefully consider if this school is right for you and your child. Your child may live to regret this decision.Other Review2y ago - St George's Independent School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeautiful campus. Great concept in multiple branches. SGIS has not been the same since Bill's departure. Feels like a public school lately. Use to be a relationship oriented culture. Lots of good parts remain. Hopefully, good change is coming.Other Review4mo ago - Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved my daughter here in 3rd grade when her last school closed. We are so happy with the transition and friendliness of the school. We were welcomed with open arms and my child grew strong friendship within days of us arriving. She is also growing academically and spiritually. I cannot recommend this school enough!Parent Review1y ago - St. George's Independent School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can’t recommend St. George’s enough. My son has been in the school starting in Little Georgies. I can’t imagine moving him anywhere else. The teachers know and love each student. They identify where a child is academically then help them move farther using an accelerated curriculum. Emotionally. I see how cared for my son is. The school pours into each student to grow the whole child. We couldn’t have asked for a better fit.Parent Review1y ago - Evangelical Christian Lower School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Farmington and we are blown away. From the events that take place every week to the special events like Grandparents Day and the welcoming of new families. We bought our house just to be in the Farmington School District and couldn't be happier! The daily curriculum is fantastic!Parent Review1y ago - Ecs Lower School Prekindergarten and Jk Program
