Cherry Park Elementary School

I've have nothing but good experiences with the administration, the teachers, the curriculum and seeing the parent student involvement. They offer resources for parents if you need help with food security or preventative health care services for students. The children seem consistently happy both while in class and when doing non learning activities such as lunch and recess. They offer community fairs and dinner nights for the students and their families. Its a shame that others aren't able to see the benefits from the school that I have witnessed firsthand.

We love Mill Park Elementary. We were nervous sending our kids to public school but this school genuinly cares about each and every student. The front office, extracurricular activities teachers, nurses, lunch employees everyone goes out of there way to remember each child's name and makes them feel important. Very diverse school and includes all ethnicity and culture by constantly celebrating every culture. We hit the jackpot with this school and we would not want to go anywhere else. Kudos to the hard working professionals! We appreciate you and the children do too.

This school was an amazing school! I went here from 2019- late 2022! Every teacher was great, they gave a helpful learning environment, and offered many educational resources!

My top three reasons for sending my son to Columbia were education, safety and faith. He graduates with honors this year and a large part of who he has become as a loving, caring, leading young person is due to Columbia and the people who work there.

Review of Portland Christian Academy I regret to say that my family's experience at PCA has been overwhelmingly negative. We enrolled our two children with high hopes, given the substantial tuition fees we are paying each year, but unfortunately, our expectations have not been met.From the outset, it became clear that the school does not offer adequate support for children with learning or academic delays. There are no resources or programs in place to assist students who may need extra help, leaving many children to struggle without the necessary guidance.A particularly distressing issue has been the bullying problem that seems to go unchecked. Despite multiple complaints regarding the principal's child bullying other students, the school has failed to take any meaningful action. This lack of response to bullying not only undermines the safety of the students but also reflects poorly on the school's commitment to creating a supportive environment.Additionally, we've encountered what feels like discrimination against children with certain health conditions. The school's approach to these matters has been less than accommodating, leaving us feeling unsupported and concerned for our children's well-being.Given these ongoing issues, I cannot recommend Portland Christian academy. It has been disheartening to witness the lack of attention and care for the students' emotional and academic needs. I would advise parents to consider other options for their children's education
