Did not receive any proper instructions in K and 1st grade, school was all play time, no work, inexperienced teachers. They do absolutely nothing to keep the children safe in this school and there is a lot of bullying going on. They don't call or follow up with you unless your child tells you there was an issue at the school, and you report it. If you are thinking about having your child attend a school in Manhattan, where you think they are safe and learning anything I promise you this is not the school for them. We were at this school for 3 years, and were happy with the progress - and the parent community. My son is already bored because he already knows the curriculum they are giving him. We miss you Montessori School of NY!We miss the NYC culture - the trips and understanding they learned about other cultures. My son's class had children from so many other countries - he learned so much about them. most important, he loved school and all his teachers.
