Posted by a parent on 5/30/2022My son just started Kindergarten here last month and...HE LOVES IT. Every day he says that it school was "great." The teachers, principal, and pastor and all warm and wonderful. Plus, he is actually IN school 5 days per week...his charter school wanted him fully remote.

While our first year here was filled with several large changes that disrupted the student body, this year has been nothing but a joy. The school has implemented so many after school programs, they send out weekly newsletters, they are open to suggestions

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst experience for my child with special needs. Leadership and communication is what they need in this school. They need a specialize teacher that truly care about there students and emotions. There accommodations for students with IEPs are not as followed , leading to behaviors to escalate for a child. Principal is not a leader or a voice in this school, just complains and makes you and your child feel uncomfortable and discriminated. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEverything at this school was traumatizing for my 6th grade daughter, who felt that she didn't have a friend group, as she said it felt cliquey, because as she said, "If you don't have friends by the first week, you won't have any at all." She only liked one teacher, who she had a study hall with. I don't recall the name of this teacher, but I think he taught 8th grade History. Besides this, my daughter felt as if she was all alone, and we resorted to going to a public school as an alternate option. Would definitely not recommend enrolling your child into this school, and I would suggest looking at The Master's Academy, a school down the road. My daughter didn't want to go potentially through that process again at another private school, so I didn't look at this option. Friends have said it was a good experience, so I would recommend it.Parent Review8mo ago
