Somerset Elementary School

We have had 2 kids in Moreland and have had zero issues with teachers or the school. The School is inclusive and my kids (one of whom hates school) love the community. Moreland's Teachers care so much about their students and their learning. The Special Ed Department is helpful and has created a wonderful environment for students.The Magnet programming is amazing as well, with each grade having their own residency from world dance, yoga/z puppets, and a 4th grade play it engages both kids sense of creativity as well as learning life skills.

My experience here has been nothing but negative. They did not do anything for my child being bullied. They don't let you know, and they have not notified me in the past. The principal is hard to get a hold of. Pick up is difficult. All it has to offer is a pool, and free Ipad. The children here swear, and cuss, pick on other children and there's nothing but a blind eye turned to it. The teacher he had did not push him to learn. They're given worksheets thats it.

My grandchildren have been at St. Joes for their entire elementary school education. They have received an outstanding academic, faith filled education. This school does a great job preparing the young ones of the future for the next level of education, and instills in them, strong and vital ethical and moral values that will stay with them and help them navigate the world we live in for the rest of their lives. Well done St. Joes.
