6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are in our 3rd year with the school. The principal has grown so much and has become an excellent communicator. The teachers are fantastic. My child is supported and challenged in the classroom. I love that my child is receiving a great academic education and an even better social education being that her school is so diverse. We receive bi-weekly, free piano lessons, music lessons on top of that, as well as art and dance. We are so happy and proud to be a Woods Lake family!Parent Review2y ago7 Reviews - Winchell Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll of the teachers my son had at Angling were for the most part wonderful. The problem I feel is if you have a student that is below average or has any disability. The school is not well equipped to help those students, and from my experience, the leadership is not willing to take the necessary steps to set them up for success. My son has ADD and had a very hard time with executive function and focus but his grades were fairly good. He got his diagnosis in 4th grade and I wanted to have a 504 plan in place. The principal and counselor completely guided me away from doing this. I learned later that they did this not because they had his best interest in mind but it is work for them and they didn’t want to put in the effort. They assured me they would get one in place before he went to middle school which they did not. When I think back to the conversation they made me feel like I was overreacting and it wasn’t needed. I know now that regardless of grades, if your student meets the qualifications, they can and should have a plan in place. It makes me sad and angry that they really cared that little about him because it was extra work for them.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Kalamazoo Christian Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school. I take great comfort in knowing that my child is receiving a Christ-centered education taught by teachers who not only are incredible from an academic standpoint, but also stand firm in the foundation of their faith. I would give this school a thousand stars if I could.Parent Review10y ago2 Reviews - The Gagie School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter will be graduating 8th grade this year and has attended since preschool. Gagie has helped her become a well adjusted and confident teenager. She is extremely well prepared for high school. School curriculum far surpasses that of any public school.Other Review2y ago10 Reviews - St Monica School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s noted in other school districts that kazoo kids can’t read when they switch schools. Lack of any real education. Bathroom situation is terrible with no gendered bathrooms and no working locks. When you make any complaint or raise questions about what they are doing, you will be made it the black sheep because your views aren’t the same as theirs. Avoid if you want your child to have an education. Not worth the price of admission.Parent Review9mo ago15 Reviews
