We are in our 3rd year with the school. The principal has grown so much and has become an excellent communicator. The teachers are fantastic. My child is supported and challenged in the classroom. I love that my child is receiving a great academic education and an even better social education being that her school is so diverse. We receive bi-weekly, free piano lessons, music lessons on top of that, as well as art and dance. We are so happy and proud to be a Woods Lake family!

Katherine Lee (Katie Lee) who teaches here is a very rotton woman who enjoys doing people wrong. Not who should teach the kids.

The teachers are great, but the admin is HORRIBLE along with the district admin not working to ensure things get better over 4 years of teacher turnover, principles that won't communicate or handle behavioral issues. Current principle may have hit a child and was not removed from the school the day of the incident and the superintendent is just covering for her while it was seen by a staff member, reported to police and the mother is also claiming it happened and saying they will press charges.Principle regularly doesn't pay attention during meetings, doesn't attend meetings for parent feedback to her that she sets up, leaving parents stuck in virtual waiting rooms while they take time off work and lies during 504 meetings and doesn't follow through on promises. Issues have been brought up to the superintended, his staff and the school board for years and nothing has changed. Sad to see similar issues have persisted since before we started having children go her.

This is an amazing school. I take great comfort in knowing that my child is receiving a Christ-centered education taught by teachers who not only are incredible from an academic standpoint, but also stand firm in the foundation of their faith. I would give this school a thousand stars if I could.

My daughter will be graduating 8th grade this year and has attended since preschool. Gagie has helped her become a well adjusted and confident teenager. She is extremely well prepared for high school. School curriculum far surpasses that of any public school.

Community, family, amazing staff, and a wonderful education makes St. Monica School an easy choice. There are inherent values, manners, and kindness taught daily that will allow children to excel for years to come. St. Monicas School is truly a blessing!If you are at all considering St. Monica School, I encourage you to give them a quick call and talk with them for a bit. The feeling of community will be understood right away!

It’s noted in other school districts that kazoo kids can’t read when they switch schools. Lack of any real education. Bathroom situation is terrible with no gendered bathrooms and no working locks. When you make any complaint or raise questions about what they are doing, you will be made it the black sheep because your views aren’t the same as theirs. Avoid if you want your child to have an education. Not worth the price of admission.
