Kazoo School

We are in our 3rd year with the school. The principal has grown so much and has become an excellent communicator. The teachers are fantastic. My child is supported and challenged in the classroom. I love that my child is receiving a great academic education and an even better social education being that her school is so diverse. We receive bi-weekly, free piano lessons, music lessons on top of that, as well as art and dance. We are so happy and proud to be a Woods Lake family!

We have loved this school. The teachers are fun and engaging and the kids come from a range of incomes. We have two able-bodied children without learning challenges so I can’t speak to the schools abilities with special needs, but we have loved our time with these teachers. The school itself is historic and a charming space for learning. Like most public schools there is an emphasis on behavior and meeting grade-specific metrics, but the teachers also seem very willing to meet every individual where they are and work with kids at every level.

Katherine Lee (Katie Lee) who teaches here is a very rotton woman who enjoys doing people wrong. Not who should teach the kids.

My daughter will be graduating 8th grade this year and has attended since preschool. Gagie has helped her become a well adjusted and confident teenager. She is extremely well prepared for high school. School curriculum far surpasses that of any public school.

The Montessori school has been the best experience for our children! It is a personalized, loving environment for them to learn and grow. Everyone at the school cares so much for each individual child. Our oldest attended for 2 years and our middle child is in his 3rd year at the school. We are so happy with the school and the experience our children have been able to receive!
