Staff not doing what they should as seeing that each and every child have protection. Some kids say the older kids ask if their blood or crips . I feel if the problem is
Posted by a parent on 1/24/2013I attended Greenfield Union School from1936-1942. We had a great science class. We gave plays in the auditorium. I went to Nolan Intermediate 1942-1946 qnd Cass Technical High School 1946-1949.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at this school for 6 years and counting (among my 3 children) and have had a very positive experience, especially with current leadership. The teachers are all amazing, and have a good mix of diversity to meet the needs of a diverse student population. There is a tight community among the students with the way the Montessori program is setup with mixed age classrooms and also the reading buddies program where older students are paired with younger classrooms for reading time. I think this helps reduce the chances of bullying, along with support from the teachers and staff to encourage positive behavior. The parents are also very engaged and we have a strong and active PTA that continues to expand to help offer more programming and more resources for the school, which has been amazing to see over the years. A strong and active PTA is always a good sign of a thriving school. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been in GWCA for over 8 years. I filled out my reenrollment for my children and grandson in the spring as scheduled every year. I was not given a bus form. There are new rules which now require a 72 hour wait period after completion of the form to ride the bus. I was told by someone that they cannot assume that we needed the bus. Well first of all you cannot assume not. We have been utilizing the bus the entire time of my children being registered at GWCA. There are Sped documents in place and children are supposed to be safe. I am very disappointed in this process as I am at work until 4 on the other side of town We were out of town on last week when they had the event for students to meet their teachers. I did send an email and I received a reply. No one shared with me the bus rules. I am at this point not feeling supported.
