Chippewa Valley High School

When I went there everyone was mean and the Teachers bullyed me.

Both of my children attended Fox. The teachers and support staff like the secretaries , lunchroom workers, and custodians are awesome and show they care about every single student. It really is the Fox Family there. They also have gym, art, music, and an extra science class where kids get to do rocket launches, eye dissections, and owl pellet dissections- it is very hands on and cool. Most districts don't have a class like this.

The principal at the school is a joke. Since she started running the school, it has gone downhill. When she’s attending events, you can visibly see she is uncomfortable and doesn’t know how to interact well with parents. I had multiple instances where my new child was harassed by another child and she completely overlooked it. If I could give this school a negative rating I would. They don’t really care too much about your child safety, some of the teachers are really nice, but most of them seem to be disorganized, overvalued, and set two high on a pedestal for people to reach. My kids went here, and both of them were bullied, and little to nothing was done to make this situation better. Children were preached to that if they needed help, someone was bullying them, or they needed somebody to talk to they could come to the teachers. But when it came down to my children, telling the teachers, they did not care. I was not informed about half of the injuries. My children had, and the principal does not care about these special needs children at all. She is probably one of the worst principles I’ve ever seen. If your child is behind, the teachers do not stop to help them additionally so they can learn. Your child is left behind. The principal herself hides behind other people, and let them do her work for her. She does not know how to handle children, has said many inappropriate things around children who were hurt or worse, and made them more petrified.IEP‘s and following them doesn’t seem to be in Miss shocks to do list. There are plenty of instances where my child has an IEP and he was not given the brakes, or the tools he needed and were required through the IEP to succeed. My child was written off as a bad egg and every instance that she could, miss Shock would send him home. This school district in general severely lacks any initiative to take care of the children that are in their district. There were several times that things were broken in the building, there were hazards on the playground, and they were not taken care of. My advice is, if you can choose another school of choice to go to, I absolutely would. If you don’t, be ready to have your child just be a number.

If your child has special needs specifically autism, please consider sending them some place else. My son was in the CLP program and his teacher had NO special education background which was never disclosed to parents! The school social worker Katie LaFever is also awful to work with. She is not helpful, and had never offered resources only casts judgement.

Horrible and no growth and he dont like this school, and my grandson is very respectful young man with lots of manners. And has never had any problems with any of the other schools.

Awful, awful school. They do not nurture or care for your child they way you'd assume most early childhood educators do. They isolate your child if they have special needs. They will be uninvited to school functions, you will be called from work to pick your child up mid-day multiple times, and they will send your child outside so they don't have to put the effort in to accommodating or modify plans. The primary classroom has 35+ kids and staff they are not patient, loving, kind, or caring. Communication is beyond terrible.
