Cherokee Elementary School

Both of my children attended Fox. The teachers and support staff like the secretaries , lunchroom workers, and custodians are awesome and show they care about every single student. It really is the Fox Family there. They also have gym, art, music, and an extra science class where kids get to do rocket launches, eye dissections, and owl pellet dissections- it is very hands on and cool. Most districts don't have a class like this.

Awful, awful school. They do not nurture or care for your child they way you'd assume most early childhood educators do. They isolate your child if they have special needs. They will be uninvited to school functions, you will be called from work to pick your child up mid-day multiple times, and they will send your child outside so they don't have to put the effort in to accommodating or modify plans. The primary classroom has 35+ kids and staff they are not patient, loving, kind, or caring. Communication is beyond terrible.

Was great at first. Switch happens, the school turns into a toxic pile with absurd changes being made every year that the students never have a say in.

My wife and myself are both public school kids so we were hesitant. I can honestly say this school was one of the best choices we have made as parents. The support and community involvement is unbelievable. We were only going to do preschool at first but both my children will be at Immanuel to they enter High School.

We absolutely love Montessori Stepping Stones. Our kids have been attending Montessori Stepping Stones for over 7 years, and we are so impressed with the Montessori theory of education. For example, I am so impressed how Montessori can take abstract Math concepts and make them concrete.
