We initially transferred our children to St. Jude seeking an in person school experience during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have been pleasantly surprised by the academics, student support, sense of community and stellar leadership at this school. Our children are happy and they are learning so much.

Both of my children have grown spiritually and academically. Each day at the school reaffirms our decision to join the St. Jude Community. As the principal says...WE ARE.

What I love most is the strong sense of community - we know each other, bump into each other in the neighborhood, and even swim together! The after-school programs are fantastic, and my family has learned so much about diversity, empathy, and social issues. My child will grow up understanding and appreciating differences. The teachers are caring and dedicated, and the nurse is particularly special - she genuinely prioritizes the kids' safety and well-being. She is nuerodivergent and how they treated her was like she was just a was kid. We were trying to figure of treatments and there was a 504 plan that basically meant nothing. My daughter was left feeling scarred from their her first year of school. I removed her from this school and it was a 180. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a sham. Subpar education, all the good teachers/staff left, JDS can’t keep them. How your child is treated depends on how involved/connected you are. If you aren’t volunteering, working, donating etc to the school your child will be a second class citizen. Forget about trying to get the school to help you if you want to move classes or make changes, the automatic go-to response for any concerns is gaslighting parents by saying everything is great no problems. If your kid gets bullied ( which is a MASSIVE problem) they don’t do anything. Again go-to gaslight routine. Absolutely worst school ever. Nothing good there.
