Posted by a parent on 11/10/2025I came to the school a couple years later than the start of middle school and it was amazing. The teachers and counselors were very accepting to my accommodations. I was a little worried transitioning to public school Because of movies, but the kids there at least most were super nice and welcoming.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was an absolute nightmare and ultimately made us leave MoCo and Maryland. Our daughter was relentlessly sexually harassed through out 5th grade and the school would do absolutely nothing to help her. They would not even move the boys to another classroom after they spoke about dreaming of raping her and wishing they could see through her clothes. The things these 5th grade boys said to her were absolutely revolting. The principal and MCPS destroyed her faith in humanity. It is a vile place to send your children. We moved to a different state after this experience and it is amazing in retrospect just how far MCPS has falling and what a terrible school system it actually is. The staff and administration are always approachable and committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment. The principal asked to have empathy for the bullies - there parents being out of the country - they were foreign exchange. Of course, I did not have empathy for those mean girls.While the last headmistress who es a nun was great, the current one is mercenary and only looking for star power (Katie Ledecky).I am mbkvalent.
