Posted by a parent on 4/29/2010My daughter came to the Unseld school in the 4th grade and last year she graduated and went on to one of the best schools in the city. I know that with the dedication of the teachers she would not be as accomplished as she is. I now have a 2 year old and he will start in a month.
Posted by a parent on 3/16/2010I attend Unselds' School now as in 8th grader. Unselds' is a excellent school! Most of the time I wish they make a high school because I dont want to leave. Sometimes the teachers lack on their responsibility, but Ms. Kim and Ms. Connie will put them in their place. Well I love this school and I hop

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school atmosphere sometimes reminds me of a juvenile setting. Pinned up aggression among the students and some faculty. I received a report that one teacher be posted on their cell phone. When the students see this they take advantage of the situation. The staff from Ms. Clarke at the front desk all the way to Principle Goodwin, makes us feel like family! They address any concern that may arise and always willing to help out wherever they can. My girls are always eager to learn, even excited to extend their learning through the evenings and weekends through the apps provided on the laptops. They keep the parents informed and engaged through Class Dojo and often have a wide variety of programs and events for us to attend. 1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a teacher at this school in 2018. Stay far far away. The first day I was there - 14 fights. Children are allowed to roam the halls in packs beating up other students. They get up and leave class anytime they feel like it.The principal, Harold Henry, is useless. He makes promises to staff and parents and then does not keep those promises. In the two weeks at the beginning of the school year he was in my classroom 1 time. During my time there, children were rushed to the hospital from being beaten up and there was a neighborhood riot. 14 teachers quit during the school year and no sub wants to go there.Don't walk away...
