MrsChristian, the pre-k teacher is awesome.My son learn so much in timely fashion.I recommend any child starting of pre-k,come to lyndhurst elementary school.

What I have come to love is that this school offers so much in learning for the children as well as plenty of love. Its amazing how the staff give each & every child the attention they need as if they are the only child their. TWO THUMBS

Posted by a parent on 10/27/2013My son started attending Lyndhurst through a pilot prgram with Saint Bernadine Head start in 2008 and I fell in love with this school. I did everything in my power to keep my son in this school because it was not his zone school and it paided off. My son was in Ms. Chapman's class and I adored her.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school atmosphere sometimes reminds me of a juvenile setting. Pinned up aggression among the students and some faculty. I received a report that one teacher be posted on their cell phone. When the students see this they take advantage of the situation. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my girls (kindergarten and third grade) second year at Mary E. Rodman and I love it. The staff from Ms. Clarke at the front desk all the way to Principle Goodwin, makes us feel like family! They address any concern that may arise and always willing to help out wherever they can. My girls are always eager to learn, even excited to extend their learning through the evenings and weekends through the apps provided on the laptops. They keep the parents informed and engaged through Class Dojo and often have a wide variety of programs and events for us to attend.
