The school atmosphere sometimes reminds me of a juvenile setting. Pinned up aggression among the students and some faculty. I received a report that one teacher be posted on their cell phone. When the students see this they take advantage of the situation. If you watching your phone how can you see

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my girls (kindergarten and third grade) second year at Mary E. Rodman and I love it. The staff from Ms. Clarke at the front desk all the way to Principle Goodwin, makes us feel like family! They address any concern that may arise and always willing to help out wherever they can. My girls are always eager to learn, even excited to extend their learning through the evenings and weekends through the apps provided on the laptops. They keep the parents informed and engaged through Class Dojo and often have a wide variety of programs and events for us to attend. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe plus for this school is the climate. The students are respectful and caring towards one another. The growth area is the academic programming for the school. We made a decision when the administrative change occurred to pull our children out. It was then that we discovered that while they were "A" students at OLV, they were barely able to grasp at another school. After much expensive tutoring, we were able to get them back on track. It was disheartening to learn that there were skills that just weren't taught and gaps in their readiness. I would love to recommend this school, but after paying for a quality education it is tough to find out that this school is way behind the local public schools in the region. I hope this helps another family as we lost a lot of time and money as we put a lot of support, donations and time into this school. We pray that they can get their momentum back for future students.Other Review10y ago
