Read what parents are saying about Campfield Early Childhood CenterI wrote the review below but things have changed for the better this year without a doubt. Everyone is nice, friendly, helpful, and my child loves school so far. We'll see how this year pans out but things are definitely looking a lot better.
Posted by a parent on 9/22/2018My Kid went to pre school there and he loved it for the first 7 months until his teacher went on maternity leave and he had substitute teacher he wasn't comfortable but he was still ok.
Posted by a parent on 5/1/2015I love everything about Campfield. I only wish the school went past kindergarten. My son has been at Campfield since pre-k. I know from having older children that didn't have the great fortune to attend Campfield that there is no place as invested in children as Campfield. The staff is friendly and inviting.
Posted by a parent on 5/13/2014My son is in K. I can honestly say he didn't learn much in this school. He learned his letters and numbers but he was already being taught that before coming to this school. He still can't read or write words on his own. I am also struggling trying to help him understand the difference between upper and lower case letters but it's hard to do that when I get his completed classwork assignment and see that he is misusing both upper and lower case letters and then getting a star for it. I don't know if his teacher doesn't care or what but it's frustrating at home when trying to get him to properly write a word or sentence. At times when I try to do his homework with him he doesn't know what to do and I'll ask him did he not learn what's in the homework at school today and he'll say no. I would then have to have school with him for him to understand his homework. I wish I had the money to put him in private school. They do have activities in the evenings and only had one field trip. The woman who prob in her late 30's early 40's, who's desk is right when you come into the office on the left can be rude in person & on phone. The older lady straight ahead is wonderful and very kind.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis School is terrible and unprofessional. Whoever send there child here, better prepare themselves! Watch how they talk to students, and yank the kindergarten students arms to move etc... This school has no monitors or good supervision, to keep the children safe. Happy the school is closing. Unprofessional individuals from the Principal Carter, Vice principal goldman, kindergarten teacher, and many others beware of these folks. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school size is good, and it is in a quiet neighborhood. I do believe staff are not motivated enough to encourage greatness in the students. I don't see a lot of behavior issues with students here. It is just extremely mediocre. I believe that the students would perform well with more challenges to compete, more after school activities, etc. There isn't much to write home about, concerning this school.Parent Review4y ago - Woodmoor Elementary School
