Posted by a community member on 5/17/2016The school has great activities such as math 24.They have fun celebrations and great teacher. I loved Ms. Wellman the best even though she wasn't my teacher. I now go to Sparrows Point Middle. Which I love as well.

They wanted to put my Black son in the office all day because they don’t have the resources to support with children with emotional behavioral issues, even though they claim they do. They did NOT uphold their end of their own agreements to support my children through third party counseling! 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGrange is small school ( even if now they are outgrowing the building itself ) that often gets overlooked or forgotten in the variety of elementary school within Dundalk. In my child's experience there it was all positive and there were many great friends and teachers met over the years. The school just recently joined the long list of school in Dundalk considered a community school so that has opened the doors for better family engagement. Hopefully this allows for a stronger serving role for the community as it evolves. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorwood Elementary is a hidden gem. The teachers and staff are excellent and dedicated to the students. Principal Mark Taylor and assistant principal Michael Ruppenkamp are doing a great job. My apprehension about the Dundalk area is eradicated due to this outstanding school. My child has completed kindergarten and first grade, and is currently in second grade, and has experienced excellent teachers who are committed to their profession. There are many after school events. Communication with teachers and administration can be done by email and phone, and responses are rapid and respectful.
