Shady Hill School

The school is pretty decent but also has its downs. I'm just going to give a quick summary: the men's bathrooms have piss all over the floor, the school does almost nothing to stop fights in middle school. But, the school also teaches well in math and english. Until these things are improved, I do not recommend this school.

Excellent school is very diverse .With very respectful teachers .The Liasion is the best of Cambridge Public school .Her dedication to the families is outstanding .Both of my kids went to this school very professional almost a private school .The structure is friendly for parents students and teachers .

This is the worst school in Cambridge!My children were bullied and faced a life-threatening situation for over 2 years yet the principal and teachers ignored it entirely. We reached out to the police department multiple times and filled more than two police reports . At the end the police officer who referred us to the person in charge at the school — but we never received any response.No one helped us. Not a single person — not the school district, not the councilwoman, not any leader or elected official. The system is broken, and someone needs to investigate the principal immediately. Children’s safety should never be ignored like this.

Atrium is a gem. The faculty are exceptional. They truly care about the students. The community is nurturing, academically challenging, and value-driven. Our family couldn't be happier with our experience with the school and its head.

This schools special education and language support programs are terrible. Teachers have no control over classes and the administration is a mess. The school move has made this school broke and they are laying off experienced teachers and keeping the cheap, inexperienced ones while combining classes for bigger class sizes. Do not send your kid here.

The critical thinking skills, confidence, and lifelong love of learning cultivated at CFS played a crucial role in this success.We wholeheartedly recommend Cambridge Friends School to any family seeking an education rooted in strong values, academic rigor, and a true sense of purpose.
