2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter's teacher Ms Joyce is great. I am blessed that my daughter's teacher is an experienced math teacher with 14 years under her belt. A month in and I can see the difference in my child's attitude towards math.Parent Review8y ago - Gardner Pilot Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is pretty decent but also has its downs. I'm just going to give a quick summary: the men's bathrooms have piss all over the floor, the school does almost nothing to stop fights in middle school. But, the school also teaches well in math and english. Until these things are improved, I do not recommend this school.Student Review1y ago - Florida Ruffin Ridley School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Atrium school is one of a kind. I am well-versed in the gamut of independent schools in the Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Newton, and surrounding metro areas. Atrium stands out from the rest. We deeply appreciate that the school's funding goes toward personnel, curriculum development, and community building rather than a flashy gym or meticulously landscaped gardens. Atrium is a school that works on a daily level to fulfill the school's mission of "Excellence with joy." High-level test prep approaches are easy to find in many schools, educational companies, and books. It is far harder to find faculty deeply committed to every student's education and a curriculum that teaches them to solve problems that they haven't seen before. These are two of the school's many unique features. The small size of the school necessitates children to learn real social skills - how to interact one-on-one to handle, resolve, and embrace differences. Even in brief interactions and conversations - most importantly, particularly in the unscripted and spontaneous ones! - I can seen how the leadership, faculty, and staff teach by example.Parent Review6mo ago - German International School Boston

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love my school! I‘ve been a student for a long time now and have always had enjoyable learning experiences. I have lots of friends at gisb and all my pears are great to work with! The teachers care about each student and teach with enthusiasm and patience. Even in ninth grade they find a way to explain difficult topics with games and fun worksheets. The preparation for exams is exquisite and extremely helpful. Since we are a small school everyone knows everyone. There are lots of friendships in various classes. The overnight class trips are always great and bring the class even closer. Since my school teaches both English and German on a fluent speaking level, I have the option to study in the US and in Germany. We have a great college counselor that also helps you apply at schools in other countries. My siblings both have similar experiences. Overall I am so glad I’m at this school and I don’t plan leaving it.Parent Review1y ago - Shaloh House Jewish Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s a preschool and school from two years old to 6th grade that is really top notch in education and caring for their students. There is also a beautiful synagogue, fun summer and winter camps as well as several holiday program throughout the year. Nutritious and homemade food is unbelievable. A great place for all!Parent Review1y ago - Buckingham Browne & Nichols School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI started at BB&N in 6th grade. It's been a while since then, but since then, my life has changed in the best ways possible. Before BB&N, I was shy and had a harder time making friends and expressing my opinions to other people. Everyone at this school is so nice and friendly, and I'm so glad I chose BB&N. I've made so many great friends here and have been challenged with fun, new topics in each subject. The Middle/Upper school campuses are both really nice! The sports are also really fun, and even if you don't know how to do some of them (like I didn't know how to row before crew), the coaches are always really nice and helpful in teaching you what to do. I've had such an amazing experience so far at BB&N, so thank you to my friends and teachers.Student Review1y ago
