Gardner Pilot Academy

This is the worst school in Cambridge!My children were bullied and faced a life-threatening situation for over 2 years yet the principal and teachers ignored it entirely. We reached out to the police department multiple times and filled more than two police reports . At the end the police officer who referred us to the person in charge at the school — but we never received any response.No one helped us. Not a single person — not the school district, not the councilwoman, not any leader or elected official. The system is broken, and someone needs to investigate the principal immediately. Children’s safety should never be ignored like this.

Atrium is a gem. The faculty are exceptional. They truly care about the students. The community is nurturing, academically challenging, and value-driven. Our family couldn't be happier with our experience with the school and its head.

This schools special education and language support programs are terrible. Teachers have no control over classes and the administration is a mess. The school move has made this school broke and they are laying off experienced teachers and keeping the cheap, inexperienced ones while combining classes for bigger class sizes. Do not send your kid here.

I started at BB&N in 6th grade. It's been a while since then, but since then, my life has changed in the best ways possible. Before BB&N, I was shy and had a harder time making friends and expressing my opinions to other people. Everyone at this school is so nice and friendly, and I'm so glad I chose BB&N. I've made so many great friends here and have been challenged with fun, new topics in each subject. The Middle/Upper school campuses are both really nice! The sports are also really fun, and even if you don't know how to do some of them (like I didn't know how to row before crew), the coaches are always really nice and helpful in teaching you what to do. I've had such an amazing experience so far at BB&N, so thank you to my friends and teachers.

Shady Hill - possibly the best private school around. My children attended SHS and now as adults they tell me it was the best school experience they ever had. Most of what they know now was because of the intense central subjects. They still talk about Miss Prescott's Greek Mythology, and that was a while back. As a parent I still hear wonderful comments from present day parents. No doubt a great school continues its legacy.

School has major issues with communication regarding problem resolution. Unfortunately, they don't update parents regularly and pretty poor at conflict resolution.
