Administration is horrible! The worst type of people to have to communicate with. They dont care about anyone but themselves.

Now that I'm an alum, I'm able to reflect back on my overall experience at BLA. Pros: A HUGE variety of AP course offerings - many of my fellow alums are ahead in college credits due to that. By far

They send the money on things they dont need like paper trays for food.... like really. Plus no one listens to you. Only the honor roll we give reward to only the honor roll. When other kids

Most of the staff, administration, and many teachers could not care less about you a human being. There none of them understood that life outside the school walls like family and work affected your performance in school. Guidance counselor

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was not happy when my son was assigned to this school since we live over 7 miles away and it takes him 45 minutes on the school bus. But we have realized that we WON the lottery! His teachers have been amazing. While he was on Ms.Hiatt's class she emailed constantly not matter what, I would receive a reply within 24 hours but usually the same day. The communication was amazing! It’s a great community and many of the teachers have been at the school for a long time and are still excited to be back every year. We have one child in pre-K and one in second and the bilingual education is wonderful.
