Oak Park Microsociety Elementary School

I see that the teachers are creative, very smart, and love their students. I mean sincerly LOVE them. They know the type of children they are working with, and they truly know how to communicate with them. As a substitute teacher, I have worked there a whole lot, and at other schools around shreveport, and I am totally impressed with the order, from the organization of the administration, to the cleanliness and children friendly atmosphere of the school. It is on par with some of the magnet schools I have seen, really! Mr Hill, the principal has helped bring this school to life, and I am proud to be able to observe and experience this type of school environment.

This is my daughter's first yeart at a public school; and it was a difficult adjustment. However, the friendly staff at Judson, has helped her come out of her "shell". A wonderful school.

Horrible school. The kids are out of control. They fight everyday. My child was attacked by another student. Beaten until her eyes closed. Do not SEND YOUR KID HERE.

I have 2 kids that go to Westwood. My oldest was in second with Ms. Greening and my youngest was in kindergarten with Ms. Gilliam this year. Both teachers were wonderful! My youngest had some delays before starting school this year, but she is now reading and writing above grade level so I couldn’t be happier. The teachers and students love Principal Gardner too. I am thankful for this school and staff.
