Posted by a parent on 12/5/2025I've heard so many good things about this school which pushed us to apply. Only to find out that it is not the same school it was years ago. The staff leaves it to the kids to relay messages to the parents. There has also been incidents where I have heard the staff speak to the kids roughly.... rude

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirstly, other than a minor bump in the road with adjusting to the new teacher’s teaching & communication methods, this school & curriculum has provided a pleasant experience so far for my first grader. The principal is available for communication with the parents which is kindly appreciated and the staff at the car-pool line are very nice too. Also, I believe there is a decent amount of homework everyday (not an exaggerated overload) and it relates back to what the teachers covered in class that day/week. My child still needs my help in understanding all of the homework instructions but for the most part it is manageable. My youngest has autism and I am so impressed of how much he has learned. He went from not knowing how to read much to now reading me books in one school year. That was awesome! Which a BIG THANKS to Mrs.Cresson , Mrs.Queen. My oldest is doing wonderful too. Also a BIG THANKS to Mrs.Glaser, Mrs.Williams in Mrs.O’Flynn. It is clean, the teachers are so kind, take mental health seriously, take special needs with love, and have an amazing way of teaching. My sister (who goes to the real elementary) loves it. J.S. was in the second grade at the time. I have to Federal lawsuits and the school and the school board and JPSO Sheriff Lopinto .
