Firstly, other than a minor bump in the road with adjusting to the new teacher’s teaching & communication methods, this school & curriculum has provided a pleasant experience so far for my first grader. The principal is available for communication with the parents which is kindly appreciated and the staff at the car-pool line are very nice too. Also, I believe there is a decent amount of homework everyday (not an exaggerated overload) and it relates back to what the teachers covered in class that day/week. My child still needs my help in understanding all of the homework instructions but for the most part it is manageable. I felt compelled to add a more recent review for this school as I don’t think the school & teachers receive enough credit.

Great school I went to Green Park when I was younger in now my two boys go to Green Park. My youngest has autism and I am so impressed of how much he has learned. He went from not knowing how to read much to now reading me books in one school year. That was awesome! Which a BIG THANKS to Mrs.Cresson , Mrs.Queen. My oldest is doing wonderful too. Also a BIG THANKS to Mrs.Glaser, Mrs.Williams in Mrs.O’Flynn. The Growth I seen both of my boys is Awesome and couldn’t thank y'all enough.

I go to the hybrid, but the school is AMAZING. It is clean, the teachers are so kind, take mental health seriously, take special needs with love, and have an amazing way of teaching. My sister (who goes to the real elementary) loves it. The kids are amazing, teachers are so sweet, extracurriculars are fun, and the way they learn is perfect.

This school is terrible. Do not send your children to Jefferson Parish Schools. My J.S. was punched in the stomach by Officer Green. J.S. was in the second grade at the time. I have to Federal lawsuits and the school and the school board and JPSO Sheriff Lopinto . Check case Smith Verses Jefferson Parish el and you will find the case.
