Lansdowne Elementary School

My son overall had a wonderful experience at this school. He was very active in a variety of clubs and organizations. I felt very good about him being there and the recognition and support he received.

I was harassed by brewer & zimmerman about taking my kids to an appointment.This experience was distressing for both me and my children. We felt disrespected and uncomfortable. I hope this review brings attention to the issue, and parents be aware of these two. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work with them or to be trusted.

My children attend this school and have had a very positive experience. They are excelling academically and socially so much while also receiving support for their area of concern so they can be ready for middle school. All the staff and teachers know My children by name and make them feel welcome. It makes them feel so good. I can see the difference since we left another school. My kids are excited to go to school and learn and as a parent that lets me know we have made a great choice with Millcreek. The afterschool enrichment program is amazing. Millcreek also has an in school basketball league that gets all the kids excited! Esports just started this year, a great technology teacher is spearheading that. The principal and VP are always there to help whenever there are concerns and at events no matter the day or time. Millcreek is a special place

We had a terrible experience at this school which continues to scar our child. Despite having an OT make recommendations for appropriate sensory interventions, Ms. Katherine continued to treat him like he was just having behavioral issues and would not attempt any suggestions from the autism professionals. Thankfully we removed him from the school and found another preschool who was truly amazing and gifted in working with “exceptional” kids.

Please save your money and avoid this school .The administration is terrible !! They treat you so nice when you visit the school and a couple of years later, you really see what goes on here . They preach love and mercy , but they very seldom show it . Over priced for the nonsense you put up with. Very clickish and those who donate a lot of money get special treatment . They can do alot better at preparing you for college . Extremely disappointed with entire school .
