Moved to this area for its diversity. Broken Arrow has passionate staff and a very supportive PTA! Been here 7 years and have a village of families who all look after one another’s kids. They are so welcoming of new and diverse families.
Posted by a parent on 11/3/2023I was hopeful, then I was saddened, and then I was just plain tired. Like I said, this school has the potential. I hope the higher ups at this school take notice, make changes, and value input from those willing to stand up for this school.

I would highly recommend Broken Arrow to anyone who wants caring, creative, understanding, and knowledgeable teachers for their kid(s).

Our oldest stated after the first day "I had more kids invite me to play with them at recess than ever before." This was a great feeling for our child and for us as we transitioned to a new place. I loved all my teachers, Mrs. Loncar, Mrs. Powers, Mrs. Konomos, Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Phipps, and Mr. Bartlett. I really enjoyed going here. My last year at Broke

One my daughter's had ADHD and ODD, they go above and beyond to motivate, build a relationship and accommodate her. Both girls are testing above average in state testing. I tried to bring my concerns up to the principal and she brushed it off. I got a call from DCF the day after I reported everything to the district. Not really a coincidence. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff and leaders at this school and in this district were not people we wanted influencing the development of our children. We left the district after numerous examples of incompetence, poor and even disrespectful communication, and a general posture of defiance in response to our genuine concerns. The principal is inexperienced, which seems to be the source of so many missteps. We know from other families there’s a growing discontent with the leadership and a hope that the principal’s tenure is short. Perhaps the school has a chance to recover or redirect with new leadership.
