Sheridan Elementary School

I love this school. My children love to go to school everyday and see their teachers and their friends. They feel valued and celebrated. Staff communicates with families frequently.

The teachers at this school go above and beyond for the kids that come into this building. This school has a high amount of emotional trauma that the students bring in with their backgrounds and the teachers make amazing growth with all of them.

My son attended Westwood this year. His teacher went above and beyond to meet his academic needs. He immediately made friends and felt connected to staff. Prior to Westwood he was struggling academically. After a year at this school he was on grade level in every subject and had straight A's!

I have had 3 kids attend this school over the last 7 years, and they have all had a great experience. The teachers and principal are kind and caring, and my kids have thrived in their education.

My boys attend SV and they love it. My older girls go to events and always comment on how they wish they had the same elementary school experience. They both have IEP’s and are meeting goals.

My children went to this school a few months during a very stressful life situation our family was going through and I was not impressed at all. Bullying, little help from teachers, no compassion. Might as well be a zoo they let out of control kids do whatever they want to include verbally attacking staff. I knew the prior principle whom would've never let things get this bad and out of control.
