5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe security staff is rude and offensive. They need customer service skills. Somebody is going to react to security. Is Beasley a learning atmosphere or is it jail? Seems like jail to meParent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Dewey Elementary Academy Of Fine Arts

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStaff do not care for the well being of your child while in their care. If your child has special need or has an IEP, this isn’t the school. They play favoritism and will not discipline students when bullying occurs. Staff members are nonchalant. Inappropriate student to teacher behavior. The dean WILL yell at your child which explains why a lot of students do not attend the school. I spoke with principal and she told me to transfer school because nothing will change. Very bad attitudes and your child will not be watched properly. This school is a huge disappointment. They are dropping academically every year and it’s because they aim to comfort the staff and not the parents and students. Please think twice about this school because it need a turn around. The dean will not take action if the child is in there favor. This school has affected my child’s behavior in a horrible manner because of constant disciplinary issue being over looked.Parent Review4y ago2 Reviews - Graham A Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred here to Graham from southwest suburb school. My kindergartner has really blossomed since he became one of Mrs. Karnezis 's sunflowers. He loves going to school. Mrs. Karnezis fosters independence and encourages her sunflower students to engage in discussions and lessons. She is outgoing, and has a great personality that the children respond too. I was appalled at how my son's first kindergarten teacher interacted with the kiddos. My son was walking in eggshells around her. Kindergarten should be an amazing experience, and at Graham, my son has that. I went to Graham when I was in Elementary, and my family, Conners, have been in the Canaryville Neighborhood for generations. I love the sense of community and how Graham fosters choice and voice for their students. Thank you!Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Hendricks Elementary Community Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is okay. They need more parent engagement and activities. They used to do a lot of cool math and reading nights. They need a parent survey to see what we would like to see in our neighborhood school. If we don't do this, we are going to lose another good school and the last great teachers we have. There needs to be more student voice so we can say what we would like to see in OUR school. Who we want to see teaching our classes and what we would like to learn. Certain teachers can make a difference. We just want some things to change. Bring back our old teachers!!!Student Review3mo ago5 Reviews - Sherman School of Excellence
