As a parent of a child with disabilities, finding a supportive environment is incredibly important, and this school has exceeded my expectations. The nurses and staff are absolutelv amazing--kind patient, and always willing to help They treat my child with so much care and respect, and they communicate openly with me about everything. The atmosphere at Budlong is warm and welcoming, and I'm grateful every day that my child is surrounded by people who genuinely care."

I went here until I moved in 7th grade I saw kids vaping in the bathrooms and saw multiple fights and I even say two people making out and they do nothing about it I even saw a teacher agree with a person who was verbally bullying another person and made it sound like it was her fault and over there are the most toxic girls I ever saw they pretend to be cool but they can't even wear makeup properly.

Our son attended Peterson for his 8th grade when we moved in the area and he grew emotionally and academically so much during that year. He made lasting friendships and wished he had attended Peterson since the biggening.We are so thankful to his homeroom teacher Mr. Butterfield who was a great mentor to him during his last year of middle school.Peterson will always have a special place in our hearts as the positive effects it had on our child were beyond education. In just one year It nourished his belonging feelings with its unique community atmosphere. Principal Nieves has poured her heart to make this school a welcoming place for the kids to want to learn and grow. We can only imagine the hard work and dedication it takes and will be forever grateful. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day and Peterson is one of the best things that happened to us last year.

you don't want to pay for making your child sick..very poooor standards!! you can find better places for sure..

St Hilary School is an amazing school and a hidden gem in the North Park neighborhood. The school is warm and welcoming and very diverse. The Principal, Mrs. Kathie Donovan, is dynamic and incredibly engaged in every facet of the school's operations. We have been especially impressed by the music and art programs, which includes both band and choir. The teaching quality is superb, which is also supported by small class sizes and a great student-to-teacher ratio. Our son is in second grade, and we've been very happy with his teachers every year so far. Attention is also given to incorporating current thinking in pedagogy and curricula, and just last year they incorporated new flexible seating. Our son also attends aftercare, and he participates in the Super Soccer extracurricular program. Sports offerings include volleyball and basketball programs for girls and boys. The Family Student Association (FSA) plans regular activities and opportunities for engagement. Overall, Catholic/Christian teachings are evident especially in the spirit of kindness and service present in this school.

St. Philip Lutheran School did not meet our expectations. The overstatements on the website are misleading. Some of the teachers are unlicensed, the curriculum isn't academically rigorous and there are very limited enrichment opportunities. Not all of the teachers treat the students with kindness and respect. Mandatory fundraising fees and additional school fees are added to the tuition cost. Overall, the school does not provide good value for the cost. There are many private schools that offer qualified teachers, rigorous academics, and a truly supportive learning. environment.

My experience over the past 7 years has been great. As the principal/7th & 8th grade home room teacher I have seen great improvement in the moral and academic performance of all the students. We have a four tier awards program: Principals’ List 3.8-4.0+, High Honor Roll 3.5-3.7.9, Honor Roll 3.0-3.49 and Honorable Mention. The majority of our students are in the top two tiers.We have now added the 9th - 12th grades. With 9th and 10th as traditional and the 11th and 12th in a virtual online classroom association with Atlanta Adventist Academy.NSAA is growing spiritually with sharing our faith in the community as well as students accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior.
