Harvard Elementary School

My daughter attended this school for one day and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. As a parent of a nonverbal child with an IEP, communication, patience, and professionalism are extremely important to me. From the very first interaction, I felt unwelcome and dismissed.I was never properly introduced to my child’s teacher or shown the classroom environment. The teacher stated she was unaware my daughter would even be joining her class that day and had little information about her needs. Pickup communication on the first day was also handled in a way that felt rude and confrontational rather than understanding or supportive.I completely understand schools have schedules and policies, however first impressions matter, especially when working with children who require extra care and support. As a parent, I did not feel comfortable leaving my child in an environment where communication already felt negative on day one.I hope the school improves its parent communication and transition process for future families.

It has been a very positive experience.

No discipline whatsoever. Don't send your kid here. They will pick up terrible behavior. I saw the kids testing, their scores were abysmal. I guess if you live close that's a perk. Genuinely I have no clue why else you would send your kid here. Even if you live close, you should want to do better for your kid. At the end of the day they put the worst behaved class in the auditorium for hours at a time with no work and security sitting outside the door. It's literally like a holding room. They have no disciplinary methods at all. It seems like everyone on staff has just given up. Primary is not as bad as middle school. There's still typically a lot of disorganization but primary tends to have better behavior at least. Not good behavior but definitely better.

If you can deal with irritating teachers, than you can come here.

This school is great especially Mr.pender 6 th grade
