Beaver Ridge Elementary School

My daughter is 10 and she is making a lot of friends and she said that her teacher is the best and she is doing good with grades, some b's but at least not lower.

They are very family oriented , very nice school building , teachers are excited to learn. My 5 yr old is autistic and they took care of her needs very fast and had and sad classroom for her particular needs but was super supportive along the way. My 5th grade has been on honor roll this year, loves her teacher me. Coleman , has scored very high in all of her milestones and has been apart of the many clubs this school offers, last but not least it is safe and that one of the biggest factors for me. I don’t understand why the scores are slow low , great schools need to update.

The teachers and other staff are very friendly, and my child likes them a lot.

Needs a lot improvement. Starting with the principal Not at all friendly over the years and many many interactions. Completely different from most in her position. Hopefully changes come along soon

This school set a very strong academic foundation for my daughter starting at age 3. When she left Hopewell at age 4 1/2 she already was on a first grade level. As a result she has always been the top of class and is in the gifted and talented program. I highly recommend starting your children here to ensure a solid foundation in reading, math and good moral character.

Even though the Headmaster and an occasional hit or miss teacher is wonderful and Christ-like, the majority of the teachers are religious but not Christ-like at all. The school has a heavy Church of Christ “religious” overtone. Immigration is a big platform for their missions and the majority of the teachers have become very liberal in their political views because of this. Beware if you are a “conservative Christian.” With the current temperature of our nation, their attitudes spill over into the treatment of more conservative students and it is NOT a good reflection of Jesus. I have had conversations with many students who have lost interest in growing their faith because of the “fake Christian” examples that teachers have shown. This weighs heavy on my heart and I pray each of them seeks forgiveness from these students, past and present.
