Needs a lot improvement. Starting with the principal Not at all friendly over the years and many many interactions. Completely different from most in her position. Hopefully changes come along soon
Posted by a parent on 10/17/2025I am very grateful for the dedication of the teachers at NES who provide tutoring before class on Wednesday mornings, not just for students who need help with the curriculum, but as enrichment for students who seek challenges.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started attending this school in the kindergarten and he is now in the 2nd grade. We both loved his Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Patterson and she loved her students so much that she stayed with her class through the first grade so they would have continuity of learning from one teacher. She was firm but caring and my son loved going to school. The 2nd grade, his teacher Ms. Salmeron, is awesome! She inspires learning, makes it relatable, she's firm and holds the students accountable. My son has been on the honor roll and doesn't want to miss a day of school.
