BB Harris is an excellent school. It’s small, and the teachers and staff really care. My son was very sad to leave it behind when we moved away.

The admin is horrible at this school. Avoid this school like the plague. Passive agressive , nasty , and unsupportive. There are plenty of schools with more competent admin.

Overall, the teachers at this school have been supportive and caring, and I truly appreciate their dedication to the students.However, I had a concerning experience that I feel should be shared. My daughter was pushed by another student and experienced tailbone pain afterward. Even now, she occasionally still complains of pain. I raised this concern with the school, but I did not feel that the situation was thoroughly investigated or addressed.In another instance, my daughter was called to the assistant principal’s office and asked to write a statement. I was not informed at the time, and I later learned she was told what to write, which was concerning to me.While the teachers are strong, I hope the school improves how it handles student safety concerns and communication with parents.

You don’t notice it at first, but when something happens to your child, you start to see how the school values administrative convenience more than your child’s safety. There is also clear favoritism within the system.

They are very family oriented , very nice school building , teachers are excited to learn. My 5 yr old is autistic and they took care of her needs very fast and had and sad classroom for her particular needs but was super supportive along the way. My 5th grade has been on honor roll this year, loves her teacher me. Coleman , has scored very high in all of her milestones and has been apart of the many clubs this school offers, last but not least it is safe and that one of the biggest factors for me. I don’t understand why the scores are slow low , great schools need to update.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Ferguson School. The administration and teachers do an excellent job creating a supportive, safe, and motivating learning environment for students. It’s clear that they truly care about both academic success and personal growth.A special thank you to Ms. Norris for her dedication, patience, and genuine commitment to her students. She is an inspiring teacher who makes a real difference every day. We are very grateful for everything you do!
