Findley Oaks Elementary School

This is a fabulous school — the principal, staff, and teachers are all so caring and helpful — and the academics are excellent. The students are challenged based on their needs/abilities, which are continually reassessed. We’re very grateful we had the opportunity to attend this school.

This is a awesome school. There is a lot of support for socially and academically. Ocee also has great activities and achievements. As former Ocee student, I definitely got help and support. I also enjoyed going to school every day.

Known for bullying and group of teachers protecting them.My son has been a victim of bullying for years latest one was cleaning agent attack straight to his eyes and mouth and been under medical care for a week. This done by same age kid and even haven’t been sent to nurse . science teacher who was supervised purposely ignored seeing him a nurse and even my son’s best friend asking her to send him to a nurse.Imagine how cruel this environment is to attack a classmates with chemicals plus ignoring medical care while their supervision .After we questioned them result was that had to withdraw our both children from school .No one knows who bullied innocent children because they don’t let them to talk; speaking out against bully is punishable by isolating them around school.

We've been a part of the Valor community for 5 years now, and the school continues to feel like home for us. Both our children (Middle and High School) have flourished here. The teachers pour into these students, not only giving them an education but deeply care about their spiritual and emotional health. The hybrid program has been a blessing to us, allowing our family some time to "breathe" on home school days. Work on these days can be completed at the pace off the child, allowing frequent breaks for our active child. The high school program continues to grow and we love seeing the growth of the athletic department. This is a wonderful, safe and caring environment that really cares about our children.

We have absolutely loved our time at McGinnis Woods. Our daughter has been attending since Kinder (is in 6th grade) and our son since Pre-k (is in 4th now). If you're looking for a place where your child is far more than just a number and has traditional learning values, we would encourage anyone to consider this school. We left MW when my daughter was in 3rd and son in 1st to try a year at our local public school, and within a month our children were begging us to go back to McGinnis Woods. Our exit exams from the year at public school actually showed our kids had regressed in just the one year we tried it. Needless to say, we went right back to McGinnis Woods and are so pleased. The principal is the heart of the school and her love for it trickles down through the teachers to the students. We have never felt more confident in regards to safety, education and love of our kiddos. Thank you MW!
