They will not call you in you child get hurts they put on they to due list until they feel like calling you then when you step up and say sum they call the police officer so they don’t have to take accountability for they actions

The staff are great with the students, I have been with this school for years three still in attendance and one that has gone on to middle school from heritage and all of my kids are A & B honor roll students. Each one teach one is what they live by

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had two children to come through CAE and I can say each year it gets better. The former principle was engaging and the new principle is implementing new ideas to peak the children's interest in the outside world. Maybe its just me, but I haven't seen any other elementary school have a student body government voted for by the actual student body (even the "pre-Kers"). The school is even STEM/STEAM certified. I am an active parent that feels welcomed by the faculty and staff of the school. I have a child that still attends Cleveland, he is gifted and could attend a more "prestigious" school, but I don't think that school would appreciate and nurture his talents and interests as well as CAE. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePersonally I don’t think school is very clean. My kindergarten comes home and states that roaches are in her classroom and bathroom. My child comes home sick a lot. The counselor doesn’t respond to emails. Her teacher responds to messages in class dojo days later. They push so much on attendance but want to punish parents because their child is out 10 days due to sickness they got from school. Maybe have parents of sick children stay at home and if the school did a better job of disinfect and sanitize then maybe it will help. Clayton county overall has a 2/10 rating.
