My son, who is autistic, went on a field trip today, and from all the kids that were there, he was the only one that felt from a merry-go-round and fell face-first to the ground. These people don't know how to treat kids. There were 5 chaperones and 4 teachers for 30 kids. Really!? We're Latinos, and they hate that. They don't know how to treat autistic kids. I went to the school, and I asked to speak with the principal. They were in a meeting. A few minutes later, the assistant principal came and said she had talked to the teacher, who told her it was an accident. Of course! How convenient. My son, who doesn't talk, can't tell what really happened. SO WHO WAS PUSHING THAT MERRY-GO-ROUND SO HARD THAT MY SON GOT SCARED AND DECIDED TO JUMP? It has to be an adult. A first grader can't. It MUST be an adult. My son doesn't like to play with other kids. They are constantly forced to do so. When I told the assistant principal that, she said that the person who forced a child to go to a merry-go-round. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Trinity in Oct. 2024. The office staff and teachers made this a very smooth transition for my 2 children at Trinity. Everyone helped us and I have never felt so welcomed at a school. My childrens teachers always responded quickly to our questions and walked me through the homework as well. The front office and school nurse always made certain we were taken care of. My children have great things to say about the school :)We love Trinity Elementary and our children are super happy here! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagenever met the elementary school teachers. but the middle school teachers are awesome. i deal with trust issues and paranoia especially with new people. but because of things that happened at school, i found myself trusting and even liking my new teachers. not all of them are perfect, but it's so much better than anything i got in public school.
