Longleaf Elementary School

This school has a bunch of racist people. My son, who is autistic, went on a field trip today, and from all the kids that were there, he was the only one that felt from a merry-go-round and fell face-first to the ground. These people don't know how to treat kids. There were 5 chaperones and 4 teachers for 30 kids. Really!? We're Latinos, and they hate that. They don't know how to treat autistic kids. I went to the school, and I asked to speak with the principal. They were in a meeting. A few minutes later, the assistant principal came and said she had talked to the teacher, who told her it was an accident. Of course! How convenient. My son, who doesn't talk, can't tell what really happened. SO WHO WAS PUSHING THAT MERRY-GO-ROUND SO HARD THAT MY SON GOT SCARED AND DECIDED TO JUMP? It has to be an adult. A first grader can't. It MUST be an adult. My son doesn't like to play with other kids. They are constantly forced to do so. When I told the assistant principal that, she said that the person who forced a child to go to a merry-go-round. I filed a complaint with the Pasco County School, but I know that it will be an accident. They deserve 0 stars.

We moved to Trinity in Oct. 2024. The office staff and teachers made this a very smooth transition for my 2 children at Trinity. Everyone helped us and I have never felt so welcomed at a school. My childrens teachers always responded quickly to our questions and walked me through the homework as well. The front office and school nurse always made certain we were taken care of. My children have great things to say about the school :)We love Trinity Elementary and our children are super happy here! Thank You Trail Blazers Staff!!

My son had wonderful experience in Kindergarten. He was excited to go to school every day, and missed school during the summer break. A lot of celebrations and fun activities, fundraisers and involvement.Our K teacher was amazing! I was pleased to see the academic progress.Homeworks are assigned each week.

My daughter has attended Genesis since Kindergarten and is currently in the 4th grade. Her academic success has far exceeded my expectations. The smaller classes allow the students to receive specialized attention to succeed. The teachers and staff are wonderful and always available for both parents and students. It's a family at Genesis. Choosing Genesis for my daughter was one of the best decisions I ever made. I know she will be well prepared to succeed in Middle School as a confident and well educated student. Genesis has instilled the love of education and has provided her with the skills to excel in any environment.

From personal experience , I would not recommend a nonverbal autistic child on the spectrum going to this school. ESE program has gone downhill in the last 3 years, with the teachers\n Quitting, leaving and then getting whatever they can in To teach them even if it's a para for the year. Kids are not being put first and I believe that classroom should have a camera because of the non details. I will go into that. I have had to experience with a child in the classroom and getting no answers. It took me forever to get a small bit of answers from the assistant principal. After finally getting a meeting with her, she never even called on time.I called her and reminded her of the meeting.Just like I always have to call and remind them to call me about my son and give me information. If you have a disabled child , I would not recommend putting in the hands of these teachers.
