DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! My child was bullied and nothing was done until the bully tried to fight my child. My child was suspended. HORRIBLE SCHOOL!!!

My twins are in 8th grade, and they are joining the school music band since last year, there's so many programs to help the students to grow more and to be prepare for the future. I just want to say: Thank You! Plantation Middle School.

Posted by a parent on 10/3/2023This school is horrible. it's unsanitary, half the teachers don't like their job, the students don't enjoy their time there, the teachers are also not good at doing their intended job, most of the people in the school are racist to the white demographic, and the teachers and principal speak so much

However, when issues arose that forced me to contact the school board, principal Deutsch and the teacher retaliated against us. They did the evaluation and recommended these devices would be great for my son but did not allow an RBT in the school/class even though she had the proper documentation. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely horrendous. As a current student I would not recommend. The teachers show huge favoritism and you get in trouble for the most minor and harmless things, while others get away with similar actions. And the teachers are not qualified for their jobs. I was told insects aren't animals, despite the fact that they clearly are, and they can't even get their information about the Bible correct. I would probably get more accurate information from mindlessly scrolling YouTube shorts. And one of my classmates didn't know villainous was a word. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend The Blake School of Plantation to any parents, especially those whose children require special accommodations. This school does not provide students with disabilities or special needs the support and accommodations they are entitled to. In my experience, the school fails to prioritize students’ mental health and emotional well-being, nor does it provide an environment that is free from discrimination. While I will not go into detail about my personal experience, I can say that the school does not practice true inclusion despite what is presented on its website. Unfortunately, not all children are welcomed at The Blake School of Plantation, and I strongly encourage parents to consider this when exploring educational options for their children.Parent Review8mo ago
