Royal Palm Elementary School

I have had good experiences with a couple teachers - special needs and general ed. However, when issues arose that forced me to contact the school board, principal Deutsch and the teacher retaliated against us. There is no good support system there if there are issues or bullying.

My son was in this school for a month, from the first day he was attacked by his classmates, no one fights bullying in this school, the education in the homes of the children is very low, they are aggressive, they are not clean and they have very bad habits, never take your child to this school.

My child is ese and I’m extremely disappointed on how they treat my child and communicate. I would give it negative stars if I could.

I would recommend this school but Principal Valiz retired early. Sadly this school has taken a turn for the worst. Teachers should keep their hands off of students and never raise their voices. My child did not feel safe at this school do to bullying on multiple occasions. The school retaliated after getting the cops involved. I have never felt so disrespected i felt bullied myself. Staff should never talk about students weight or recommend they see a doctor because of their learning disabilities.

My son went there years ago I would not recommend if your child needs therapy such as speech or behavioral therapy. They did the evaluation and recommended these devices would be great for my son but did not allow an RBT in the school/class even though she had the proper documentation. They failed my son because of the teacher ego!

I would not recommend The Blake School of Plantation to any parents, especially those whose children require special accommodations. This school does not provide students with disabilities or special needs the support and accommodations they are entitled to. In my experience, the school fails to prioritize students’ mental health and emotional well-being, nor does it provide an environment that is free from discrimination. While I will not go into detail about my personal experience, I can say that the school does not practice true inclusion despite what is presented on its website. Unfortunately, not all children are welcomed at The Blake School of Plantation, and I strongly encourage parents to consider this when exploring educational options for their children.
