I have had good experiences with a couple teachers - special needs and general ed. However, when issues arose that forced me to contact the school board, principal Deutsch and the teacher retaliated against us. There is no good support system there if there are issues or bullying.

Too strict and mean to little kids

Front office staff Ms.Armstrong, Ms.Bynes, Ms.Kessler are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Very professional teachers who communicate well and take pride in caring for the children. I am glad to be a part of this school family.

My son went there years ago I would not recommend if your child needs therapy such as speech or behavioral therapy. They did the evaluation and recommended these devices would be great for my son but did not allow an RBT in the school/class even though she had the proper documentation. They failed my son because of the teacher ego!

I would not recommend The Blake School of Plantation to any parents, especially those whose children require special accommodations. This school does not provide students with disabilities or special needs the support and accommodations they are entitled to. In my experience, the school fails to prioritize students’ mental health and emotional well-being, nor does it provide an environment that is free from discrimination. While I will not go into detail about my personal experience, I can say that the school does not practice true inclusion despite what is presented on its website. Unfortunately, not all children are welcomed at The Blake School of Plantation, and I strongly encourage parents to consider this when exploring educational options for their children.
