Posted by a parent on 7/6/2020Pines Lakes Elementary is indeed a great school. The Principal Ms. Sasse is thorough and follows all policies and procedures consistently. She is always on top of things. I tried to research this school when my daughters were assigned here and the reviews were little and now having been here for a full year I know most of the bad comments are one offs from people who had personal challenges or bitter persons. From the Admin to The Head of ESE and to teh teachers they are all friendly and engaging. I am shocked to see how many of the staff know them by name. This School has worked themselves from a D to a B now with Broward County and they are definitely going up. I am proud to be a Panther Mom and feel its the best place for my girls. Kudos to the Pines Lakes Team
Posted by a parent on 9/10/2019I am worried about my sons saftey due the irresponsibility and neglect of the administration at Pines Lakes Elementary.
Posted by a parent on 9/22/2017Teachers in this school don't care about the students with special needs. The person in charge of ESE don't have a clue how to work in benefit of the children with disabilities. She's there just to make difficult all the process for the parents. The principal cover the team to prevent complaints but she don't care about the kids either.
Posted by a parent on 7/13/2016The following comment is not about this school. There is not a teacher named Dr. Brown nor is there a teacher named Mrs. Cooley

Despite occasional challenges with an influx of students leading to overflowing classes, our dedicated teachers consistently go above and beyond to accommodate every student's needs. Together, we strive to provide a nurturing and effective educational journey for all.Teacher Review3mo ago - Pasadena Lakes Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Pasadena Lakes Elementarry. The teachers really care about the students. The principal and vice principal are very hands on and the children love them as well. I went in to meet with both yound ladies who are professional and they were able to speak to me and my husband. They even knew my child just by looking at them. The fact that they know the students makes me feel good. My chidren are just not numbers but the adults know them. I have had 5 children to attend pasadena Lakes and all of them love it. 2 of my children that are the last of the 5 attend and they come home happy everyday.Parent Review1y ago - Pembroke Lakes Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went to this school and was bullied by other kids of his same age. I told the teacher several times but the bullying didn’t stop. I am glad my child no longer attends this school. Also, the counselor in this school is very judgmental. Not sure how she keeps her position as an elementary school guide counselor.Parent Review4mo ago - Tanglewood Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad a really bad experience overall. Never got to meet the teacher even I tried couple times, there was always an excuse. I also had an incident where they let my son eat his old lunch that he had forgotten at school even though I explained it at the door. He just recently told me his teacher was mean and screamed at him for not knowing the letters. I wish I never sent him to pre-k because it was a bad experience for him and we are going through explaining that not all teachers are mean and his new school will be great.
