There was this teacher who used to yell at everyone for no reason. Two, actually. It happened when I was in 1st grade and 4th grade. Those years I wanted the URGE to switch schools. But now i'm in middle school doing just fine.

The school teachers and staff are like a second family to the students at Palm Cove elementary. The school promotes a safe and engaging environment for students to thrive.

This school taught me more about favoritism, poor communication, and unprofessionalism than it ever did about actual education. The way certain staff members treat students is honestly embarrassing — unless you’re a teacher’s favorite, don’t expect support, fairness, or even basic respect.They care more about their image than the students who actually walk through the doors every day. Mental health? Ignored. Concerns? Brushed off. And if you ever dare to speak up — suddenly you’re the problem.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Do better.This school is completely unacceptable. My neighbor’s child, who is in special education, came home with a large bruise on his back — and no one gave any answers. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy twins just completed the 5th grade dual language program at Lakeside, and we had a great experience there. They were there from Kindergarten through fifth grade, and I can say with confidence that Lakeside is truly a safe space. Dr. Rodriguez and Mrs. Leal have done a wonderful job of making a great school even better. The teachers are so dedicated, and the turnover rate has been very low from what I've seen. Their PTA is very active and really works hard to make school more engaging and fun for students. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Tanglewood since he was an infant in 2017 and still attends in aftercare. He has consistently loved Tanglewood and to this day, never wants to go home when I pick him up. Most of the staff have been at the school since he started.
