10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been going to this school since kindergarten and just finished second grade. He was in the high achievers/gifted class in second grade and will continue in the program in third grade. This school is absolutely incredible, and he is very happy here. He scored in the 99th percentile in math and in the 94th percentile in reading on his second-grade STAR testing. The teachers during his first three years here have all been tremendous. Mrs. Aaron, who teaches second grade, has been his favorite so far. Consider yourself lucky if your child gets to attend this fantastic school for six years of elementary school.Parent Review1mo ago22 Reviews - Palm Cove Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere was this teacher who used to yell at everyone for no reason. Two, actually. It happened when I was in 1st grade and 4th grade. Those years I wanted the URGE to switch schools. But now i'm in middle school doing just fine.Other Review2mo ago14 Reviews - Pasadena Lakes Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe arrived halfway through the school year at a Texas elementary school, where my son attended 1st grade, and unfortunately, the experience was not the best. We ended up at Pine Lake Elementary because it was the school assigned based on our address.I want to be honest and fair by saying that not everything was negative, but unfortunately, most of our experience was disappointing. Communication with my son’s teacher felt almost forced on my end, as I constantly had to follow up just to speak with her and even to properly get to know her. I understand that teachers can be overwhelmed with so many students, but as a mother, I also have the responsibility to advocate for my child’s progress and well-being.My son would come home frustrated almost every day because he was bored in class and constantly mentioned that he already knew the material being taught. Honestly, most of the new things he learned this year came from the external after-school program I paid for, where he was actually being challenged and taught new concepts. His teacher also committed to beginning the process for a specific evaluation with the school therapist, but the school year ended and nothing ever came from it. There was never any follow-up communication, and no evaluation or support plan was ever completed.I do not want to generalize, and I truly hope that other families may have had different experiences. However, I also have to be honest about ours during the time my son attended the school. At this point, I have officially requested a school reassignment, and I’m praying to God that it will be approved.Parent Review1mo ago14 Reviews - Potential Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe absolutely love Tanglewood Academy! All 3 of my children have attended since they were infants, and we have had such an amazing experience throughout the years. They have participated in Pre-K, VPK, summer camps, and after-school care, and every program has been wonderful. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children’s growth and happiness. My kids have always felt safe, loved, and excited to go to school each day. The staff creates such a warm and nurturing environment.A special thank you to Ms. Kelly for always being so supportive, attentive, and kind. Her leadership and commitment to the children and families truly make Tanglewood Academy special. We are so grateful for all the memories, learning experiences, and love our family has received over the years. I highly recommend Tanglewood Academy to any parent looking for a caring and trustworthy school for their children!Parent Review1mo ago10 Reviews - Nur-Ul-Islam Academy
