Posted by a student on 3/12/2024I WOULD NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL THERE IS HORRIFYING STUFF IN THIS SCHOOL
Posted by a student on 2/13/2024Boys talked sexually in classes. Teachers did nothing. School lunch foods could be compared to prisons. Cannot get through a day without being caught in a fight or hearing one. Slurs everywhere. Do not send your child here.
Posted by a student on 11/22/2023the bathrooms suck and there are some crazy fights you might get a black eye just because people push you to watch the fight

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has come a LONG way from what it used to be. The new principal has made many changes in tackling negative behaviors. Tangelo Park also has various family night events where students with their parents are welcomed to join and partake in wonderful activities and meet the faculty and admin. Students feel safe and welcomed in the school. Go to the school and get acquainted with the staff, you won't be disappointed!!Parent Review1y ago - Dr. Phillips Elementary School

My son has been there till 4th grade and then got into Magnet program at Bay Meadows Elementary also in Dr Phillips and we can both say that between these 2 schools, Dr Phillips elementary is much better!!!!! Better staff, teachers etc. My daughter is now in Dr Phillips and we love it.Parent Review8mo ago - Dr. Phillips High School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDrama classes were taken out of the school day & now solely run for upper class-men as extra curriculum by a nonprofessional unseasoned teacher boosting her resume & unwilling to help/guide younger students with great interest in drama. .The sports field has been closed over a year with no outdoor home games/track PE or field days. There is no confirmed time for a field to be reopened. Parents must speak Spanish to be welcomed in this Catholic community. Little to no attempt is made to communicate with those that cannot speak Spanish. Very Mean Girl environment. My husband & I attended a formal dinner last year to meet others & the lady Ann that “runs” it was unwelcoming and offensive. There is a very low bar on science and math. Lab and its experimental time is greatly lacking. The arts seems to be mostly “free drawing”. There are no science and/or art shows. I would have had my kids shadow for a day or two prior to moving if we had that luxury.Parent Review3w ago - Growing Minds Montessori School
