Posted by a parent on 1/10/2022The leadership at this is school is awful. Horrible place for children with IEPS. Bullying is taken lightly. Awful communication between administrators and parents. Teachers are AMAZING so far. Take all your problems to the state commissioners office you will get heard and the problem will get fixed

My son has been there till 4th grade and then got into Magnet program at Bay Meadows Elementary also in Dr Phillips and we can both say that between these 2 schools, Dr Phillips elementary is much better!!!!! For the 2022-2023 school year, Principal Phillips won an award from the Southwest Learning Community as the Principal of the Year. There are some after-school clubs (like chess, chorus, and percussion), in addition to lots of social events that the school does every year (carnival, book fairs, movie nights, and more).
