My son was able to join the school after having a difficult experience somewhere else. At KLE he has flourished and grown thanks to the help of his great teachers and the supportive staff. School is welcoming to parents.

The principal is a mess like some folks mention and the Gifted program a joke. Years ago “gifted” learners were those that excelled academically and were capable of sitting quietly for instruction. These days, if the kids pass a test, they get in. Many with learning disabilities in the program interrupt the learning environment and engage in bullying. The teachers turn a blind eye and the principal’s response is “everyone’s equal.” Not so. By allowing those mentally/emotionally challenged students who continuously interrupt the learning environment, you’re taking the rights away of those children who do not have these issues. Such a shame. It used to be a good school but it’s headed in the wrong direction.

PTA is more focused on body guarding their own kids rather than serving the community. Specially kids that don’t have present family members. Recognition are given to PTA members kids. Very poor support for families. They always link “problem” kids with a disability. But do not provide enough support.

My daughter has been going there since VPK and is graduating this year from 5th grade. I loved this school so much from the kids, to staff to all the teachers. I'm going to miss it so much !

Dante B. Fascell Elementary School holds a very special place in our family. My children are alumni, and I always knew I wanted my grandchildren to have the same experience my kids had and it has truly been just that and more. The staff and administration are friendly, welcoming, and approachable, creating a warm environment from the moment you step onto campus. Every morning, students are greeted by the principal and vice principal, which speaks volumes about their leadership and commitment to the children. It’s amazing to see the same care, values, and sense of community continue through generations. We are so grateful for this school.

My sons were both CME students and I can not express how fortunate I feel about the entire experience. One of my sons was in the giftted program and my other son was in the ESE program. Nothing but top notch teachers, school environment, and education. Thank CME. With much gratitude, a proud CME DAD

I’m very grateful with Ms. Monica Fernandez and Thais mancha this years is my daughter firts years at school setting I was take care or my daughter since she born and just be able to see her improve made my heart melting so we are grateful with them for the patience love in everything they do, even the staffs they are amazing !

Completely amazing staff, my little sister has improved so much whilst in their care and I can’t thank them enough for helping us with everything. Reality of it is they feel like family in such little time and most importantly my baby is happy there with everything and that’s what we as a community should care mostly about.
