My son was able to join the school after having a difficult experience somewhere else. At KLE he has flourished and grown thanks to the help of his great teachers and the supportive staff. School is welcoming to parents.

There’s something special about returning to a place that once impacted you so profoundly and having the opportunity to make that same impact in return. That’s exactly how it feels to work at Oliver Hoover as a teacher after attending as a student from Kindergarten through 5th grade.The environment at OHES is, and always has been, incredibly family-oriented. The teachers are truly dedicated to what they do, and every staff member plays a part in making sure it’s a safe, welcoming, and fun place to learn.I am so proud of our school! Not to mention, we’re the only school in Kendall that has been A-rated for 25 consecutive years.Once a Wise Owl, always a Wise Owl!!!

PTA is more focused on body guarding their own kids rather than serving the community. Specially kids that don’t have present family members. Recognition are given to PTA members kids. Very poor support for families. They always link “problem” kids with a disability. But do not provide enough support.

As a parent, I know how scary it can be to trust someone else with your child every day. Finding a school where my child feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for was so important to me, and I can honestly say this school has been a blessing to our family.From the principal Dr. Diaz to the office staff, teachers, and paraprofessionals, every single person has shown my child kindness, patience, and genuine love. They don’t just see my child as another student—they take the time to understand, encourage, and support them every step of the way.The biggest gift this school has given me is peace of mind. I never have to worry about whether my child is safe because I know they go above and beyond to make sure every student is protected and cared for. Watching my child grow in confidence, learn new skills, and come home happy has been the greatest reassurance that we made the right choice. I will always be grateful for everything this school has done for our family. If you’re looking for a school where your child will be safe, supported, and truly loved, I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

Our experience with this school was very disappointing, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.My son enrolled in April after our family moved from New Jersey to Florida due to financial and work-related reasons. From the first day, we informed the school that this transition was emotionally very difficult for him. We hoped he would find a supportive and understanding environment, but that was not our experience.My son frequently told us that some teachers spoke harshly to students, calling them “lazy” and constantly telling them that sixth grade would be “terrible,” creating fear instead of encouragement.One incident was especially upsetting. A teacher brought donuts for the class, but when it was my son’s turn, she told him he couldn’t have one because she was giving them first to students who had “priority.” She then gave donuts to every other child, leaving him out. After I spoke with her, she apologized and explained it was a misunderstanding, and her attitude toward my son noticeably improved afterward.The same teacher would also tell him, “Remember when you used to cry every time you came to school?” whenever he became distracted in class. I understand that discipline is important, but children should be corrected with respect and empathy, not by reminding them of vulnerable moments.Because of everything he experienced, my son chose not to attend the end-of-year activities, only his graduation. After the teachers learned this, they repeatedly talked in class about how amazing the celebration would be and how much fun everyone attending would have. My son felt these comments were directed at him, making him feel even more excluded.The most heartbreaking part was the emotional impact this had on him. He became so overwhelmed that he told me he wanted to die. I was only able to speak with the administration at that point because the situation had become critical. Later, I repeatedly requested a meeting with the principal, but despite being told I would be contacted, no one ever followed up.Teachers help shape children’s confidence and emotional well-being, not just their education. I sincerely hope this school reflects on the importance of empathy, respect, and supporting students during difficult transitions.

My sons were both CME students and I can not express how fortunate I feel about the entire experience. One of my sons was in the giftted program and my other son was in the ESE program. Nothing but top notch teachers, school environment, and education. Thank CME. With much gratitude, a proud CME DAD

I’m very grateful with Ms. Monica Fernandez and Thais mancha this years is my daughter firts years at school setting I was take care or my daughter since she born and just be able to see her improve made my heart melting so we are grateful with them for the patience love in everything they do, even the staffs they are amazing !

Completely amazing staff, my little sister has improved so much whilst in their care and I can’t thank them enough for helping us with everything. Reality of it is they feel like family in such little time and most importantly my baby is happy there with everything and that’s what we as a community should care mostly about.
