Read what parents are saying about North Lakeland Elementary School Of ChoiceHorrible worst school ever. The principal protects his teacher no matter what and he never faces the parents.
Posted by a parent on 6/5/2017This is a good school. My 6th grader didn't want to leave last year. The teachers work VERY hard and really care about the kids. I volunteer there and have seen the teachers give so much to the kids. The principal is great and works very hard to make it a good school. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you don't like this school or have heard bad things about it from other people, GO VOLUNTEER and then see what your opinion is then. Your perspective should change. Yes this school may not be in the best area but we are happy there and I can feel good about leaving my kids there knowing that people actually care about them.
Posted by a parent on 9/7/2012This is a great school for children with SPECIAL needs. Ms. Byrd is an excellent teacher and I have observed the others who teach special needs classes are also very good teachers. My daughter has learned to read through their innovative new reading program, which was something we had only dreamed of! I have found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The neighborhood the school is in is not the best, but I have never seen anything to cause alarm. I have rated the parent involvement low based on my experience with the other parents in my child's class.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school line is ridiculous , people love to skip the line because the assistant principal said it’s okay. Tired of kindergarten line skipping everyone.. I get there at 230 do you think I like seating on the line for my health.. I had a kindergarten child who went there and I had to go all the way to the back of the line. What makes that one parent special that she can skip the line .. smh.Parent Review8mo ago - Sleepy Hill Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids are car riders and currently go to this school. The school faculty that direct the vehicles through the line are absolutely the rudest. I have had some really pleasant interactions as well but mostly over the phone. The people in the office tend to have the same grouchy attitude as the people in the pick up/drop off line. There are exaggerated motions of me needing to move my vehicle while my children are actively boarding or leaving my vehicle. And they yell at us to move when I get one of my sons and the other is still on his way. My 8 year old told a faculty member to have a good day when he left and she replied “no not today” like she couldn’t be bothered to tell him to have a good day as well.Parent Review2y ago - St Luke S Christian Academy & Preschool
