This schools is really bad! My kid never feels welcomed do to the fact that the principle is really bad and wants to kick him out. I took my kid there because I taught it would make him feel welcomed but with the principle around I don't recommend parents should take their children there.

I had 2 kids complete kindergarten through 5th grade there, who continue to excel in middle and high school thanks to the foundations taught at Colfax. Currently, I have kids in ECE and 1st grade at Colfax. The level of education is exceptional. The teachers are heavily invested and care about the whole child experience. The rest of the staff is top notch, caring for my kids like their own. Our children are excited about school, have made wonderful friends and continue to grow academically. The staff is kind, well educated and passionate about the school and students. Whenever visiting my husband and I feel welcomed, students appear to be well managed, respected, on task and excited about learning. The communication between staff and families is excellent. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school from 1st grade to 4th grade. It was horrific. Absolutely terrible, I was consistently bullied while the principal did nothing to anyone for anything. Mr. LaRoux (when he was there, unsure if he or any of the old teachers still work there), Ms. Wesley and Ms. Vanderbolt were all very amazing teachers, they convinced me that learning was worth it and made me love school when the other kids were terrible to me. I do not recommend this school at all. Please send your children to literally any other school.Other Review1y ago
