Low security. No buzzer. Lack of dedication to keep our children safe. It's a very dangerous area and should have no excuse to invest in security systems and scurity staff.

The administration is open to meeting with parents and they work hard to make sure each kid is taken care of. Going to Barnum feels like joining a community, one that I'm proud to be a part of.

With that being said the English speaking class is jammed full of kid. For example kindergarten has 1 English speaking class compared to the 3 Spanish speaking class same with 2ND grade b

I've called and made several complaints to the school with no resolution. Seems as they dont care about the safety or well being of your child as the bullying persists. I will be

Our children are excited about school, have made wonderful friends and continue to grow academically. The staff is kind, well educated and passionate about the school and students. Whenever visiting my husband and I feel welcomed, students appear to be well managed, respected, on task and excited about learning. The communication between staff and families is excellent. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school from 1st grade to 4th grade. It was horrific. Absolutely terrible, I was consistently bullied while the principal did nothing to anyone for anything. Mr. LaRoux (when he was there, unsure if he or any of the old teachers still work there), Ms. Wesley and Ms. Vanderbolt were all very amazing teachers, they convinced me that learning was worth it and made me love school when the other kids were terrible to me.
