Prairie Middle School

Not much diversity in terms of staffing population and front desk definitely shows preference and bias towards subs , culturally, ethnically etc and are not particularly welcoming. I clicked yes I would recommend the school because it is not a bad school per se but it would not be my first choice to recommend either. They can do a lot better.

Great school very nice teachers answering questions on time and clearly

The special needs department staff are great, but after speaking with other special needs parents from this school the principal is bias with who he makes accommodations for and if you’re a “difficult parent” (really, if you advocate for your child like I do) it’s frowned upon. The program for severe needs and the staff that supports those children are great! It’s the administration side that’s suspicious. Using your “power” rather than accommodating the child's needs should be investigated.

The best part of the community is the PreK program/classes. The worst of it comes from K-5. Not a safe learning environment. Most of the staff are not inviting and very dismissive. They don't try to help solve problems they would rather watch a fight go off. Some staff are okay but they never stay for after school activities, which we can't blame them fully for. If some of the kids are bad, you can imagine their parents. Worst Cheery Creek district school. No wonder Teachers leave all the time. Don't recommend it here.
